Although the first 3D games appeared back in the late seventies of the previous century, this genre made a quality leap only in the late nineties and early 2000s. 3D graphics is a carefully designed flat image that makes the human brain perceive it as a three-dimensional object. At the dawn of the development of computer games, the 3D effect was achieved only due to a well-drawn two-dimensional picture. After a while, the creators of 3D video games began to use object modelling. Now, within the game's universe, 3D is no longer a pseudo visual effect. You can twist the object in the game and view it from all sides, your character can move in all directions, and the game screenshot is now difficult to distinguish from the real picture.
Despite all the advantages of an attractive picture, 3D MMORPGs have their cons. To run modern 3D games, you need a good powerful computer which can process game objects, take into account their physics and project the picture onto the screen. - PixARK is a game with unusual 3D voxel graphics. The usual 2D pixel games inspire such style. Graphics of PixARK took the angularity, colours, spirit of two-dimensional games, and placed it in a three-dimensional world.
