Albion Online Gameplay
Albion Online has some unusual mechanics, not peculiar to games of this type. First of all, there are no quests at all. You are left alone with yourself, and no one will lead you by the hand. All players are gathered on one server and are free to do whatever they want.
There are also no merchant NPCs in the game. Players drive the economy of Albion Online. If you do not want to pay another player to use his shop, you can create your own. For this, islands are available in the game. You can buy one and build whatever you want.
In addition to the general atmosphere of anarchy, there are no races and classes in Albion Online. All skills in the game depend on your equipment.
So, you have installed the game and want to start playing. To make this possible, you need to create your hero. Character editor in Albion Online has nine features to customize: Name, Gender, Face, Skin color, Beard (for male characters), Hairstyle, Hair color, Underwear style, and Underwear Color. Also, you have to choose an avatar.
Once you created a character, you can make a choice: go through training or skip it. If you're new to Albion Online, you should go through the initial stage. Otherwise, it will be hard to figure out the game yourself. Regardless of your choice, after this stage, you will be taken to the Starter Town.
There are five biomes in-game with its own Royal City and starter town, which claimes as safe zones. Also, there is the capital of the Royal Continent, called Caerleon. Each city represents its player faction. You can join one of them if you want. Factions have their own NPCs and quests.
The world between cities is divided into zones: safe blue zone, PvP yellow zone, full loot PvP red zone, and black zones with automatic PvP.
Move between cities with caution.
If you don't want to play alone, you can join a party or guild. This is an essential aspect of the game, accessible to all players. Once you joined a guild, you can take part in guild wars, and GvG PvP. There is also a system of ranks with different permissions.
Albion Online is a colossal and unusual game; all aspects of it cannot be mentioned in one article. You need to try it yourself to find out everything. This game is perfect for gamers who are interested in cooperating with other players and want to try something new.
Albion Online Classes
Since there are no classes in the game, Destiny Board was introduced into the game. It is a skill tree and progress guide at the same time. You are deciding for yourself what skills you want to learn. After the tutorial, you can choose what you want to focus on. There is no prescribed way of leveling; it will only show the closest skills you might unlock.
To unlock a node with skills, you need to complete the task for this.
The quest will be related to the skills that you want to develop.
You can get a skill by repeating the related activities. It will level up automatically.
You can be a master of all skills, but it will take a lot of time to do, and you will not be able to use all of them at once. So it will be wiser to choose two or three skills that you enjoy training and level it up.
There are four Masteries in Albion Online. After you reach Tier 4, you can select one.
A Combat Mastery allows you to use all types of swords, like Dual Swords or Claymore. Your character also will learn some new skills in swordsmanship. Masters of Combat have much more severe damage than other players.
If your Mastery is Crafting, you will create things much more efficiently. The quality of the stuff you make will also increase.
A Farming Mastery helps you to use your farms and pastures with wisely. You will also receive free seeds for your farms.
Finally, if your Mastery is Gathering, your character will gather things faster and get more of them.
The diligent players will be rewarded with Mastery Points, which will allow you to select a specialization. If you have a premium account, you will also get Learning Points. LPs are used to increase progress speed. Using LP correctly, you can save yourself a lot of time, which can be spent on fun and enjoyment of the game.
