Alpha test of Back 4 Blood will start on December 17th

Back 4 Blood Closed Alpha Testing December 17th 2020

The first phase of the cooperative alpha testing of the first-person shooter Back 4 Blood will start within several days, and to prepare for it, the developers released a short briefing video. It shows the gameplay and describes the content which should be expected in the alpha version of the game.

At this stage, there will be four playable characters from the first trailer, although, the developers are planning to add four more heroes at launch. Each of the characters has their own perks and additional weapons. During the gameplay, players will have to fight zombies, collect equipment and weapons and try to survive.

Back 4 Blood will also feature a card system, adding Rogue-like elements. At the beginning of the mission, players choose a card, which makes the gameplay more complex and interesting. Also, players can customize their own builds that give specific passive bonuses, such as increased reload speed, reduced fire damage, health restoration and so on.

The closed beta testing of zombie MMO Back 4 Blood will take place from December 17th to 21, 2020. The official release is scheduled for June 22nd, 2021 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
