ArcheBlade Gameplay
ArcheBlade offers the players multiple game modes to try, such as team deathmatch, deathmatch, capture the flag and others. You can queue to team up with random people or add your friends and join a ranked ladder to face opponents on a wide range of available in-game maps. Players also can create custom maps and play with friends. The game presents a third-person camera and various customization settings to improve the performance on most machines and to allow the players to change other settings.
ArcheBlade is similar to other third-person shooters and MOBA games; the players move around using WASD, spacebar and mouse to control their characters. You can also connect a gamepad to improve your experience even further. You can also block and evade attacks with buttons, and the two additional abilities are also available to use at any time during the match. All the characters have the same movement speed, and the animations are similar to allow the players to learn the game quicker and be able to predict various actions done by the enemies.
In ArcheBlade, the players can choose one from several characters with unique abilities and powers. The game allows the players to pick one from a few heroes available for free, and each week there is a new list of new characters; however, you can purchase any of them and play it at any time forever. There is also a wide range of available visual customizations for each character, and you may earn them by completing the in-game objectives and by investing real money to purchase the in-game currency.
MOBA ArcheBlade features multiple playable characters that have unique abilities, along with a standardized set of damaging combinations that are available to everyone. You need to perform the attacks to gain rage, and the consumption of it allows you to unleash devastating powers onto single or multiple opponents at once. Your character also generates the resource by receiving damage; however, you can try to dodge most of the attacks by moving around and using specific abilities.
The game is built on Unreal Engine 3, and it has all elements of fighting games, including swift movements, colourful on-screen effects and smooth animations. The character models have the Soul Calibur-styled appearance, and their faces don't express emotions or move at all so that the players focus on the gameplay aspect and are not distracted by additional visual improvements. However, it's possible to buy costumes to make heroes look unique.
ArcheBlade is distributed through the Steam platform, and every player has access to Friends Lists, community pages, chat-rooms and a large number of available guides. The game is lobby-based, and players have to select a server to play against others manually. However, there is a community matchmaking feature available to find matches and face random opponents of different skill levels. You can also create your server and choose the game rules manually to invite friends and strangers to compete against them.
ArcheBlade fits both casual and hardcore players, and the game does not have any restrictions for the players to join any game hosted by others. You can cooperate with your friends and participate against other teams, as well as enjoying the experience alone against strangers. The community supports new players with a broad range of available guides in the game and other game-related platforms, and you can always practice with the free characters to learn their weaknesses and use them against real opponents.
