Assassin’s Creed 2 Gameplay
Assassin’s Creed 2 continues the story of the hero from the previous part of the game, Desmond Miles. The journey takes him to different cities, such as Venice, Florence, San Gimignano and Forli. In Assassin’s Creed 2 players control the character through a third-person perspective. You may also access the database, which provides extra historical information about in-game landmarks, services and people. The health system is based on the technological features of these series, and you may need to replenish it or slowly recover from minor injuries over time.
Assassin’s Creed 2 provides the players with various abilities, such as swimming and Eagle Vision, which is used to identify specific people and landmarks. The player also can control a carriage, row gondolas and ride horses at any point in the game to travel between towns and cities. You may also hire different groups of computer-controlled characters, such as courtesans, thieves or mercenaries. They can be used to fight, distract, or lure guards into traps.
The combat system in Assassin’s Creed 2 is complex, and you may use various weapons to fight with guards or Templars. You can also disarm opponents using counter-attacks while unarmed and steal their weaponry to follow up with an attack that instantly kills them. The players can purchase swords, maces, cutlasses, daggers and axes from vendors in each city. You can also pick up any weapon nearby or use improvised weapons, such as broken spears or brooms. Also, players can purchase various upgrades for their villa, obtain new equipment throughout the storyline and dye it with several different colours. The game fits both casual and hardcore players because of the wide variety of available side activities, immersive plot and dynamic combat system.
