Beasts of Bermuda Gameplay

Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer game with an extensive map, where the player is a dinosaur or any other prehistoric creature. Choose to be a flyer or swimmer, a herbivore or a predator, or an amphibian. The main goal is to survive on an island in Bermuda. Other dinosaurs, as well as severe natural disasters, will be enemies to be fought against by the player.

You discover the game's well-developed, real-time ecosystem, and you become an integral part of it. You can choose of predators and herbivores, flying species and water inhabitants. All dinosaurs have both unique skills and weak points. First, they all have a set of parameters such as hunger, thirst, endurance and resistance to poison. Another essential feature is the skill tree, which represents the opportunity to choose a specific style of behaviour. Meat-eaters can learn to sneak around more quietly, while vegetarians learn to do without food longer and wag their tails more effectively to protect them from natural enemies. Massive creatures learn to mount powerful attacks, swim fast and banal increase their health reserves. The level rises after a successful hunt, or a certain number of fruits or leaves eaten.

Dinosaurs from the underwater world move around very quickly and eat fish that splash in every lake. Some beasts have sharp teeth, others have long tails or necks, which allow them to catch the food they want. Even the terrestrial predators have the problems: little dinosaurs can run in flocks and snatch their prey from more powerful beasts because they're much more fast and agile.

You can choose between three game modes from the main menu:

Life Cycle — A mode with character development and distribution of experience points. The player chooses the creature of his choice and appears in the world as a teenager of this species. It must survive and gradually grow. As he grows older, he earns talents that can be spent on improving various aspects of your creature's abilities.

Freeroam — Without any MMO elements, or survival simulator. It has free movement, which allows the player to instantly appear as an adult dinosaur with a fixed number of talent points. Death is not a big deal, as there is no growth or other mechanics that reward the player for staying alive longer.

Combat — Various Jurassic creatures fight on small maps with unique mechanics. The skill points are distributed before the battle begins. In this mode, players can fight with similar dinosaurs on unique locations. Players can gain more talent points by killing other beasts and stealing their experience.
