- Retro dungeon crawling adventure
- Thousands of mix and match loot pieces
- Fantastic pets and creatures
- Five vast zones with randomly-generated levels
Bit Heroes Gameplay
Bit Heroes is old school in nature game, which welcomes players with pixelated visuals, classic sound effects and music.
Much of this game plays out as a single-player experience, but other players can have an impact on your journey as well. In-game friends can assist you with taking down major dungeon bosses, and weekly PvP and PvE activities take into account all other player’s performance when comparing to yours.
When you create a character, the game offers you to customize it. Customization options include character’s face, name and other minor details. The game will not allow the player to change the chosen name afterwards; however, players can purchase another visual customization.
The game guides players through the first few battles to explain some of the mechanics, which include the character’s primary attributes:
Power affects the damage and healing of your abilities.
Stamina increases the character’s health pool.
Agility increases the number of character’s turns in a battle.
The main questline of the Bit Heroes guides the player through the zones, introduces bosses and allows fighting with them on three different difficulty levels. It is not only possible but also encouraged by the game to repeat previous levels and battles.
Players can also party-up with monsters, which will assist in a battle. Rarely, when you defeat a monster, you will get a chance to recruit it; this chance can be increased by improving the Capture Rate bonus.
You can buy consumables and gear from the shop in town. Most of the items require premium currency, but some of the things are available for gold, which is in-game obtainable money. All white pieces of gear provide a basic attack with no additional skill points. There are different rarity levels on the equipment, and better ones offer the player more benefits. The rarity levels are white, green, blue, light red and yellow, which indicates the legendary loot.
At some point in the game, players will find that they cannot proceed through a stage because it becomes too difficult. The game pushes the players to repeat their previous steps to improve the gear and stats to continue further.
The developers continuously support Bit Heroes, and new events and features come out weekly, as well as the higher difficulty tiers and new dungeons. The game has a massive community and online presence. BH is suitable both for old-school hardcore fans and beginners or the genre.
