CBT of the PC-version of Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis will begin in January

SEGA announced the approximate date closed beta testing of the MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis for PC in Japan. This stage will start at the end of January 2021 and will end in early February.
Testing will be divided into two stages. The first is intended for users who have already played the original Phantasy Star Online 2. Players will be able to use their own previously created characters and play them.
The official Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis website has already opened accepting applications, and it will last until January 4th, 2021. The developers plan to send out a total of 50,000 invitations. To apply, you will need an account with which the Japanese version of Phantasy Star Online 2 was launched.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is an improved version of the MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 and features enhanced graphics, mechanics and systems. The latter include expanded character customization with more customization, improved weapons, and a progression system. The standard version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will not be closed, and the two projects exist together because players can not transfer the level of the character and some items in New Genesis. Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
