Citadel: Forged with Fire Gameplay

Citadel: Forged with Fire is a massive sandbox simulator with various RPG elements, and it takes significant inspiration from other similar projects of the genre. The game welcomes the new players with a character creation menu where they can choose from a variety of visual features and races. You can also choose one out of three starting points in the massive virtual world, and after entering it, you start with proceeding through the tutorial questline to learn the basic mechanics and features of the game.

In Citadel: Forged with Fire, players can use numerous customization options which allow them to develop unique playstyle and learn various skills by using the built-in skill tree. The players earn points by levelling up, and they can spend it on learning magical sorceries and other abilities to perform both in and outside of combat. The game offers the players a wide range of weaponry, such as staves, wands, gauntlets, swords and many others. At a specific point of the character progression, you can also obtain “Pacify” ability to tame ferocious creatures, which you can use as an ally in battles and level them up to improve their skills even further. Some animals provide you with a unique set of abilities to ride them and perform other sorceries, and you can also tame a dragon to fly and reach various hidden locations.

Citadel: Forged with Fire allows the players to gather resources and construct unique buildings and castles. The game features a wide range of possible improvements and fortifications for the players to enhance their custom homes even further. Levelling up provides you with additional upgrades for the building system, and the players can explore the world and find other players’ homes, which allows you to destroy and pillage them. Others can also discover and attack your castle, and there are multiple ways to defend it.

This game provides the players with limitless customization options for their equipment, and the built-in loot generation system offers a randomized pool of gear pieces. The players always get unique items from the same creatures. There are other ways to obtain equipment, such as crafting, and you can create a wide range of things to fit your playstyle and improve your most valuable attributes. Citadel: Forged with Fire also allows you to enchant most of the pieces to add more bonuses and effects to both weapons and armour. Some of the enchantments can affect a specific set of abilities to improve some of their impacts as well.

Citadel: Forged with Fire allows the players to form alliances and build their unique fortresses. You can customize the flag, hierarchy and wage war against other houses. The players have a wide range of quests and objectives to improve the power of their clan, and you can always recruit more people to join you in your adventures. The game allows the players to trade various items, the in-game currency and host unique events to attract others to participate. The project fits both hardcore and casual players due to the massive sandbox world where they can enjoy any activity of any difficulty alone or with other players in any location. There are multiple ways to approach each objective, and some of them are seasonal to provide the most active players with additional rewards.
