Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a multiplayer FPS developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment Studios.

  • A large number of different weapons
  • Huge gaming community
  • Availability of competitive mode and rank system
  • Lots of game modes

Seven years after the release, it is still being distributed on online digital gaming service "STEAM," continuing to receive updates consistently. The plot component of the game is missing. However, there is some semblance of a story that is told through a description of weapons and comics. You can also find individually created story maps for the passage.

CS: GO Gameplay

As in the previous parts of the Counter-Strike series, there are terrorists and special forces that are at war with each other. Players are divided into two teams, after which armed clashes occur. Victory goes to the team that fulfilled certain conditions of the game mode or destroyed the enemy team. In CS: GO, there are a large number of game modes, ranging from the classic one with the bomb laying and ending with hostage scenarios, death battles, an arms race, and others. Also, there is a mode of play "Wingman," in which an action takes place between pairs of players on reduced versions of maps.

Also, a recent update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been the introduction of the currently accessible Battle Royale mode. In this mode, players jump to different points of one big map, look for different types of weapons and equipment, fight each other until the only winner is left. Separately, it is worth mentioning the competitive mode, the game in which is played for the rank title. The higher the rank of the player, the more professional and experienced he is considered.

Players have a large selection of weapons in their arsenal. Automatic and sniper rifles, pistols and PP, shotguns, and heavy guns. In addition, there are various types of grenades: incendiary, fragmentation, smoke, light, and false. Also, for some CS: GO modes, there is recoverable situational equipment: body armor, a set of sapper and rescue, and an electroshock gun. The purchase of things is made depending on the financial situation of the team. The amount of money varies depending on the outcome of previous rounds and with what kind of weapon the murder is committed.

A custom workshop was created for the game, where players can share their creations, such as maps and game skins. The developers award the best works. They often add such types of inventions in the next CS: GO updates. CS: GO has its in-game market, the main product of which is weapon skins. You can get them in two ways: by opening special cases for real money, or by purchasing on the Steam trading platform. Some users, especially fans of e-sports betting, consider this feature to be an excellent way to earn money.

Speaking of eSports: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has a very developed eSports scene with hundreds of game teams of various professional skills. Championships of multiple sizes are held throughout the year, in which teams from different regions compete for status and large cash prizes. CS: GO is one of the most popular multiplayer shooters at the moment, which will appeal to all fans of the competitive element, as well as fans of the Counter-Strike series.
