Developers revealed new gameplay video of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood
Nacon and Cyanide Studios have revealed a nearly seven-minute gameplay trailer from the new roleplaying game Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood.
The plot revolves around the main character named Cahal, a member of the Garou race, and also a werewolf. The main character hero to stop the evil corporation Endron which sells oil and gas; their activities are damaging the nature and risk ruining the life of the Garou, and even the whole humanity. During the game, you can switch between the three forms of Cahal, each of which has its own features and advantages.
- The human form is needed to talk to people and play silently. Human Cahal can hack computers, stealthily eliminate enemies and shoot a crossbow (there are electric bolts to disable equipment).
- Cahal-wolf is faster and more agile — for example, he can sneak into enemy territory through a cramped vent.
- Crinos (humanoid monster) is the primary combat form: you need it if the stealth approach didn't work.
The shape-shifter has two basic stances: one emphasizes quick attacks and movement, and the other emphasizes strength and survivability. In the course of the fight, the protagonist also fills up the rabies scale. It gives access to a special mode, in which Cahal becomes more powerful and swift, but cannot heal or block the enemy attacks.
Earthblood is an action game with stealth elements. Judging by the fragment presented, the gameplay cycle is simple - you quietly make your way to the target, eliminate snipers and other especially dangerous enemies. When Cahal is detected, the battle begins. Cyanide assures that a lot of attention is paid to the combat system — the developers wanted every strike to be realistic and dynamic.
