Disintegration Gameplay

Disintegration is a game by Marcus Lehto, a scriptwriter and game-designer who used to work for Bungie and was one of those who invented the Halo universe.

Disintegration has not only an exciting single-player campaign but also immersive multiplayer PvP-battles with three game modes and many maps where players and their teams will compete with each other. You can fly the Gravicycle with colossal guns, different abilities, high firepower and manoeuvrability. Another feature of Disintegration is a control of the team on the ground: you can command them to attack targets, pick up items and use their abilities in battle.

The world of Disintegration is set in a distant future, where scientists at some point invented a technology that could extract the brain from the human and place it in a robotic body. This process was called integration, and it helped humanity to withstand natural disasters and solve the problem of lack of food and resources. The goal of the scientists was to help people to survive the 'apocalypse' and then return to the cloned bodies made of flesh and blood. Still, some integrated decided that the humankind must keep living in their new metal bodies, and all normal humans must be forcibly integrated into robots.

Disintegration has solid FPS mechanics, and it's quite hard to play it like pure RTS. You won't be able to stay away from battle: the units are just additional firepower with unique abilities that can distract the opponents. As a player, you should find a balance between cooperation with your squad and control of your playable character.

The developers emphasized the diversity of the gameplay and missions. All missions, challenges and even environment of the locations differ from the previous stages. Between quests, the developers allow you to travel around the settled camp and listen to the conversations of your teammates and other NPCs.
