The Division 2 will get a crossover event with the Resident Evil
Multiplayer third-person shooter Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will get a crossover event with the Resident Evil horror series. Capcom and Massive Entertainment confirmed it during the last Resident Evil Village presentation. According to Massive associate creative director, several items from the original Resident Evil trilogy will appear in the game to celebrate the series's 25th anniversary during a special event.
The event will take place from February 2nd to 15, and you'll get a free Leon Kennedy costume just for entering The Division 2 during that period. It will also be possible to receive other costumes and weapon skins throughout the event, including STARS and Umbrella-inspired ones, but there are no details about them yet.
In Resident Evil: Village, Ethan Winters must travel from a village to a castle to find his kidnapped daughter. On his way, he will meet different enemies, and you will have to change your tactics all the time to defeat them. The shooter mechanics will be an essential part of the gameplay as well as melee battles. The release date is on May 7th. The game will be released on the previously announced PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Upgrades to nextgen will be free, and the pre-orders are opening today.
A PS5 exclusive demo will also be available today; in this version, you'll play as another character, The Maiden. Another demo will be available on all platforms in the spring.
