Eldevin Gameplay
Eldevin is a story-based MMO, so it's friendly to solo players. This game more aimed at PvE combat and it also has some sandbox features. The Eldevin is also quite hardcore because it has a monotonous skill development system and lots of the grind. Although it's story-based, the player still needs to spend dozens of hours on developing the character. It could be annoying if the game did not have incredible freedom of action. The Eldevin has lots of side activities and exciting things to do that always distract players from the main plot.
The main activities in Eldevin are completing quests, earning achievements, developing skills, levelling up the character and participating in battles. You can acquire different professions and customize your skill tree as much as you want.
The game has a simple character editor. You can change the name, gender and some details of the appearance of your hero. There is no strict class division; the Talent Trees represent all of the skills. After you create a character, the game will start. A quick tutorial will introduce all of the basic mechanics.
Main quests represent the storyline of Eldevin. For completing various tasks, you will receive experience, useful items and in-game currency. You can also increase the speed of levelling by completing sidequests and training combat skills.
There is also an opportunity to participate in group dungeons with friends. It differs from the Story Mode because Group Dungeons has the more expensive loot and higher amount of EXP to gain.
Eldevin Classes
Although there are no classes in Eldevin, you can pick one of the skill archetypes. There are six of them:
- Templar — the classic tank role. Ordinary it uses shields and swords to fight in close melee combat. One of the most popular archetypes, most of the tank builds based on this role.
- Warrior — melee damage role, a user of two-handed or the throwing weapon. Warriors wear heavy armour to protect their bodies.
- Assassin — fast melee class with medium armour. Assassins use throwing or one-handed weapons to cause colossal damage to the enemies.
- Ranger — users of bows and crossbows. They have the broadest range of abilities and the highest energy rank that allows using skills freely. The Rangers can also equip a knife as a melee weapon.
- Mage — ranged damage role. The Mages are adepts of arcane arts and excellent users of Sorcery attribute. Usually, Mages use only staffs as their weapon, but the players are free to equip a sword on a magician.
- Prophet — primary healer role. Prophets can combine Mage skills with their healing spells with high productivity.
