Escape from Tarkov Gameplay

Escape from Tarkov is a realistic story-driven online multiplayer game that combines features of the FPS / TPS, combat simulator and RPG genres with MMO elements. The developer and publisher of Escape from Tarkov are Battlestate Games.

All events unfold in the Norvinsk economic zone. The city of Tarkov is the leading site of an armed clash between UN peacekeepers and Russian Military, as well as two private military companies. The soldiers have blocked all exits, and now those who fell into this trap will have to survive. It is possible to unite with friends, but it's dangerous to trust strangers. You always have to hide from other players and AI-controlled enemies.

The main active forces are two parties-USEC and BEAR. USEC was hired by the infamous international Corporation Terra Group to protect the employer's facilities in fierce battles, actively obstructing the local authorities' investigation of the Corporation's activities. It also provides security support and covers for illegal work and research by a foreign company. As for BEAR, it's a Russian organization hired to investigate and extract any evidence of unlawful actions of Terra Group. The player will have to choose the side of the conflict and support other mercenaries.

The story part is divided into scenarios and available as a separate multiplayer mode. It is possible to raid both alone and with a team.
The player can explore various places: private sectors and districts, factories and bases. There are also hidden locations in the game: laboratories, underground warehouses and closed offices of TerraGroup.

The game also changes the weather conditions and time of day, which makes the game more realistic.

Escape from Tarkov features the HECS - Hazardous Environment Combat Simulator (system module - a combat simulator in extreme conditions).
Moreover, it is possible to feel the state of the character better through its behaviour which is affected by health, exhaustion, dehydration, hunger, blood pressure, blood loss, fractures, contusions, poisoning, nervous exhaustion, shaking hands and other factors.

The next option is to control your character freely-smooth movement, changing positions, bends, progress in a squat and many other features. Weapons operate on the same principle as in real life. It can overheat, wear out, and rust.

The game has a complicated system of modifications built into a date. You can customize every function of the weapons and equipment and find the most suitable gameplay style. It's also possible to turn off the lights, make breakthroughs and cleanrooms thanks to the system of interaction with the doors.

If your character dies, you will lose everything you took with you in the raid. In this regard, it is necessary to prepare backup sets of equipment and use protected containers and insurance. It would be best if you remembered to take good care of yourself, your equipment and weapons. Use the right medications from the wide range available at the right time, so as not to die or lose concentration: repair armour, firearms, and edged weapons. You will have to lean the water and distribute food supplies correctly.

Inventory management is performing traditionally, using slots. You can customize your unloading to complete your tasks like a real professional. Don't forget about special equipment—night vision glasses, radios and headsets, helmets and body armour. It's necessary to loot the dead enemies to obtain different items that can be used or sold at a flea market or auction. You can also trade to gain trust and get exclusive products. Still, you can become a merchant yourself and run your store, a staff of mercenaries and unique goods, adapt to a changing economy that responds vividly to the actions of other players and random events controlled by the game.

The developers of Escape from Tarkov have implemented a realistic combat model with reliable physics and ballistics; the change of day and night; the impact of exhaustion, disease and injury on the behaviour of the character; and an economic system that is subordinate to the actions of players.
