Fear the Wolves Gameplay

The world of "Fear the Wolves" is set in the Chernobyl, where a hundred players fight each other, mutants and anomalies. The goal, like all 'king battles', is simple: to be left alone, surviving the end of the match.

The basis of the Fear the Wolves gameplay is a classic battle royale battle with 99 opponents, and the main goal is to stay alive. In addition to the classic gameplay, there will be a dynamic change of weather conditions and many anomalies from the original universe. At Fear The Wolves, you will find a system of dynamic weather as well as a day and night cycle. During your adventures, you will be able to come across not only players but also mutated creatures who want to destroy you.

The developers have provided "Fear the Wolves" with plenty of firearms with additional options in the form of sights, enlarged shops, buttstocks and other modifications. Fear the Wolves has no narrowing round "zone" which was used in PUBG or Fortnite. In this game, the map is similar to a chessboard. The locations are divided into squares, which are randomly "disconnected" from the edges to the centre. Otherwise, the mechanics are the same: first, the game gives a warning about being infected by radiation, shades part of the card is red, and then begins to quickly deal damage if you don't leave the dangerous square in time. Semi-transparent anomalies are also caught, which also take away precious health glasses, and some villages are entirely contaminated with radiation, which is warned by the corresponding markings on the map.

Wolves that can compete with live opponents also know how to break down doors, so you can no longer hide from them in the building. And with the release of the game from early access, a new mutant, the wolf-matriarch, appeared. It is much harder to kill her than an ordinary wolf, but for such a feat the player will get the "Heart of the Matriarch" artefact. As long as it is equipped, predators will no longer attack you; you can even send the wolf pack on your opponent. Another feature is that defeated players can sabotage the gameplay even after death by changing the weather on the map. Fog reduces visibility, while rain and storm affect transport controllability and aiming.

When only a couple of 'clean' squares remain on the map, a rescue helicopter comes down from the sky, hanging in the air and dropping a cable. The helicopter emits red smoke to attract the attention of the players.
