Fractured MMO Gameplay

Fractured MMO provides an open world with a list of possibilities and choices available to the player. The plot of the game tells a story about three different planets: Syndesia, Arboreus and Tartaros. A unique race with individual abilities inhabits each world. Overall, the choice of race plays an essential part in game mechanics.

Syndesia belongs to Humans, creatures of free will, that can choose their path according to their thoughts and morals. They separate their ways to become either a saviour or a cruel bandit. Being aggressive brings its consequences: players that choose the path of evil are punished by society.

Arboreus is inhabited by Beastmen that live among evergrowing vegetation in harmony with nature. They are skilled survivors who peacefully exist in connection with the planet and each other. Players who enjoy social gameplay tend to choose Beastmen as their characters.

Tartaros is home for Demons, creatures that know no good and usually are always aggressive. They prey on each other and other races, so Demons become good assassins and bandits. This race is the most comfortable for active PvP players.

Fractured MMO supports player-driven economy because the distribution of resources in the worlds is uneven. Trading on markets of other planets can bring profits to the players. Before trading, the player needs to reach the destination alive as the roads are always watched over by bandits.

Among the possibilities of this MMO, players can choose to be a peaceful citizen and take up farming as their primary job. Food and water are essential for surviving, so these kinds of goods bring good money to the player.

In Fractured MMO each planet is prosperous with one kind of resources and completely lacks other ones, so players can become miners and woodcutters. This grants them a place on the market of all three planets, especially with the rare commodities in hands. Gathering wood, metal, gems, stone and herbs is as dangerous as robbing a caravan. Planet’s inhabitants might want to stop the player from ruining the environment.

One of the PvE mechanics allows players to become a monster hunter. Hunting the monstrosities brings in hides, bones, fur and other useful materials which can be sold on the market or used for crafting more effective weapons and armour.

Fractured MMO presents a flexible Knowledge System and Reputation System that have their differences from the conventional experience points and on-rail questing. Rewards are given for courage and cleverness. By gaining knowledge, players also earn talent points which can be divided by character’s needs. After setting up the weak and strong points, the player is able to start their journey right away.

Besides being an isometric game, this MMO brings a real-time combat system with aiming, dodging, and using over 400 abilities and 40 unique status effects. Skill plays the most crucial role in the gameplay.

In Fractured MMO, natural elements of the environment can be manipulated to fight enemies or gather resources. Fire, water, earth - all of that is interactable if the character possesses the skills for it.

This sandbox MMO provides a housing system for the players that want to build up the guild. They are allowed to bring up a settlement, a war base or a merchant quarters together with other characters in order to do business together. Still, they will also have to protect their homes from the enemy players and AI that would want to raid and besiege it.

The PvP system is individual for each playable planet. Free PvP can be found on Tartaros, where players can attack each other despite where are they located. Arboreus is meant to become a realm for peaceful PvE and solo players as it has limited PvP abilities, and Syndesia contains a mix between the first two worlds.

Fractured MMO functions on SpatialOS so the worlds look immersive, and life cycles are going with realistic speed.
