Heavy Metal Machines Gameplay
The developers of HMM combined racing and dynamic action with the usual MOBA mechanics so that the mad knights of post-apocalyptic roads can face in a battle. Players can choose between different vehicles; each car is unique, and each character has its unique style of play, improvements and development options. There are three roles for team players - Support, Interceptor and Transporter.
The action of Heavy Metal Machines takes place during the post-apocalyptic era. The survivors began to gather in arenas and organize bloodthirsty races, the main goal of which is to survive.
In Heavy Metal Machines, there are two teams in the matches, each with four participants. To win the game, you need to get a bomb, which is located in the centre of the race track, and deliver it to the opponent's base. The task seems straightforward, but the resistance of the opponent's team makes it challenging to complete. Participants wreck into each other, shoot missiles and even set fire. The bomb carrier gets the most attack; this car will be followed by various obstacles and traps, which makes it impossible to deliver the bomb quickly.
Progress in the game is made through participation in matches and development of the vehicles. Development system of Heavy Metal Machines allows you to strengthen the skills of your machine, raise the level of essential characteristics (health, power, repair speed) and improve your ultimate ability. Still, it's impossible to develop every attribute: you have to choose which one suits your playstyle most because all upgrades are limited.
In total, there are 13 machines in Heavy Metal Machines. You can choose from free options available to everyone or invest in a built-in shop to buy a unique car. Each of them has exclusive skills: the standard fast acceleration of speed, two attacking or repairing abilities, and one ultimate. The last one accumulates energy during the race, and it's especially destructive.
Heavy Metal Machines Vehicles
All cars in the game Heavy Metal Machines, depending on the role performed are divided into three types:
Interceptors — the central combat units with powerful weapons, whose primary purpose is to press the enemy and prevent the capture of the bomb.
Transporters — fast and manoeuvrable wheelbarrows to deliver the bomb to the base of the enemy team.
Support — most important role, because they can repair and heal allies.
Paths in Heavy Metal Machines are detailed and melt a lot of dangers. Force shields filled with lava, zones where a transporter machine loses its bomb immediately, and this is not a complete list of the obstacles that will meet the gamers in these dynamic races.
