The Isle Gameplay

There are more than a dozen playable types of dinosaurs, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. Some human characters rely on firepower, while others use primitive weapons and rely on stealth and mobility.

The Isle is a multiplayer game in the genre of hardcore survival with the open world. The primary and only goal of the game is to survive. There are no checkpoints, manuals, hidden instructions, and other things that change the gameplay. At the moment the game has a wide variety of kinds of herbivores and predatory dinosaurs. Create flocks, raise cubs, hunt, avoid predators in the thick forests, savannahs and swamps.

You choose the fraction of herbivorous or predatory dinosaurs; after you appear in the world, you need to find the nearest lake and food, and then do what you like. Your character has everything necessary to survive: some dinosaurs have sharp teeth or horns, and others have high speed and stealthy lifestyle.

Your hero can die not only because of hunger and dehydration, but you can also easily break a leg (the more giant the dinosaur, the easier it breaks kegs). You can't run with bleeding (it's necessary to lie down if you want to stop the blood and stay alive). It's possible to fall from a cliff without noticing it, get attacked by other creatures, or accidentally hurt the character. Each dinosaur can make unique sounds: friendly, aggressive, neutral, shouting for help, as well as a loud warcry. Dinosaurs can pretend to be limping, sneak around silently, sit in an ambush, and then shortly run at high speed. In The Isle, you can unite in groups, as well as create nests where there are other baby players to grow.
