Karos Online Gameplay

Karos is a reasonably well-known client-based online RPG that surprisingly good combines the hardcore nature of the good old classic MMORPGs and exciting, innovative mechanics, bringing the variability to the gameplay. Even though the game was released pretty long ago, it still can boast a good picture and immersive, dynamic gameplay.

One of the significant features is the unique fletta system. Fletta is an etheric substance which can be obtained by killing monsters. The player can create, improve, and develop equipment in the game paying with fletta. Also, the Karos offers a rather impressive system of pets; players can choose out of a wide range of various monsters, improve them and customize. In passive mode, your pet becomes one of the decorative elements of your hero's equipment, with the specific parameters.

Another feature of Karos is its PVP-oriented combat system: the game is focused on wars for various specific areas, such as mines, castles, and other attributes of guild power. But it's not just a formality that shows the status and power. For example, the guild that seized a mine receives an opportunity to extract fletta as a bonus.

The elaborated economic model is worth mentioning. It allows players to sell or purchase items by, for example, opening the personal shops. Every player can find a place in the world of Karos; it doesn't matter which priorities you choose. You can become a great merchant, an invincible and famous warrior or a leader of the most influential guild — the decision is all in your hands. All you need is to join millions of players and start conquering this unique world.

Karos Classes

In this game, you can choose out of four races and seven playable classes. Each one has specific gameplay; all of the roles are race-locked. The game has several playable races: the usual Humans, the mystic and gloomy Shadows, graceful and agile Seroines, and small, stocky Vaneeseans.

  • Blader — the first human class. It's a role of melee sword combatant, who can also use the dual swords and lances. This class is aimed at the damage-dealing and mighty battles with hordes of enemies. The Blader usually stands in the first rows of combat, protecting the allies from the enemy attacks.
  • Paladin — the second human class. Paladins are the holy knight of the light. They equip the sword and the shield to protect the allies physically and cast various spells to heal the teammates with the power of saint aura.
  • Rogue — the class, locked only for Shadow race. These mystic heroes use dual weapons and power of ancient martial arts to fight with the enemies. The gameplay for this assassin-like class consists of stealth combat, based on agile moves and quick dodges.
  • Sorceress — the adeps of the ancient magical power, which is not accessible for races except for Shadows. These heroes develop only skills of destructive magic which causes significant damage; at the same time, they spend almost no power on it, which makes Sorceress the ultimate magic damage-dealer.
  • Bowmistress — a class of agile ranged heroes with severe physical damage, who belong to the noble race of Seroines. They specialize on the duel combat, but the tactics of bowmistress role are useful for battles with hordes of enemies too: these mighty warriors can shot the foes with the hail of arrows, or defeat them one by one.
  • Mystic — a class of magicians who feed their abilities with the forces of elemental magic and power of nature. It's one of the most powerful damage classes, which has the same archetype with the Sorceress, but it's exclusive for the Seroines.
  • Gunner — the single class accessible for the Vaneeseans. It's specialized on ranged physical damage. Also, gunners can use various useful mechanisms and use them at the battlefield.
