Minion Masters Gameplay
Minion Masters feature quick battles between two or more players on a small arena. Players have to use cards that represent mighty minions and powerful spells to unleash them on the opponents at the best time. It is an auto-battler, and the players do not have to micromanage actions of their minions and other mechanics. You have to think fast and consider an opponent’s moves to win the battle.
The experience of Minion Masters begins with choosing your main character, and all players provided with the basic one. There is also a weekly rotation of the Masters, and you can unlock more by purchasing them in the in-game shop with Shards or Rubies. The characters play a vital role during every match, and each one has strengths and weaknesses that affect the overall strategy of the battle. For example, some are effective in dealing with ground minions and useless against flying creatures.
In Minion Masters, each player has a deck of ten cards. Each card requires a specific number of mana points, which accrue over time. The players have to find a perfect balance between summoning slowly or quickly to overwhelm the opponents with more powerful minions. You should also include various tools to deal with different types of opponents in your deck, so it is viable against most enemies. Timing is crucial in this game, and you have to react to opponents’ actions swiftly by summoning more units or using abilities. You can only have four cards at any given time, and you get more from your deck after using one of them.
Minion Masters feature an account progression system, and each level up rewards you with chests that may have more cards of different rarities. It can increase the size of your army, and deck customization becomes more and more challenging because of the broad range of available units. The game offers over a hundred unique tools for the players to compose their armies of, and that way, each strategy is unique and adds even more depth to the gameplay. The built-in ranked system always finds the players fitting opponents to battle.
Bridges are another crucial in-game aspect. You can capture it for your team, which allow you to increase the rate at which you gain experience points during the match. You can use them to unlock additional perks, cards and abilities that are specific to each Master. Another kind of mechanics is that you can turn these points into mana, which allows using more skills and units to defeat your opponent.
Minion Masters feature multiple game modes, which include 1v1, 2v2, Draft and Mayhem. You may queue together with friends, and the game supports cross-platform multiplayer for all users. Some modes also allow you to include AI opponents to test your decks and learn the basics of the game. The graphics are cartoonish and colourful, and bright animations enable the players to understand better what is happening on the battlefield. The soundtrack is ominous, and various sound effects are there to describe the events on the field. There is also an announcer that comments on each match.
Minion Masters fit both casual and hardcore players because of the adjustable difficulty and various game modes. The matches only take a few minutes, and it is relatively simple to use your account from different devices to have access to the game more often. Various built-in customization systems allow the players to change many of the in-game aspects, and that way, the experience is unique during each session.
