Mortal Online Gameplay

Mortal Online is a hardcore sandbox MMORPG inspired by famous Ultima Online; the main feature of this game is the most significant freedom of action and profound system of interaction with the in-game environment. MO has deep character customization, sophisticated sandbox mechanics and dynamic combat. The game is oriented on PvP combat and cooperation between players.

Since Mortal Online is an extremely complex and sophisticated video game, it has comprehensive introduction questline. It introduces new players into gameplay, shows the basic types of activities and technical features of the game. After that, all of the players will have to explore the world by themselves. The conception of the game encourages newbies to experiment with the environment and available skills to find out relevant information because it provides an advantage over other players. Still, many users decide to share the obtained knowledge and create well-balanced character builds together.

One of the core features of the gameplay is violence and nudity, which is not censored or limited. Unlike other MMORPGs, if you undress playable character in Mortal Online, it will be completely naked. There is an opportunity to turn off this feature in settings, as well as blood and detailed injuries. The game is as violent as hardcore, so it’s not very suitable for a young and sensitive audience.

The PvP system of Mortal Online has regulation mechanics which are called “flags”. The blue one shows law-abiding player, the grey one is intended for criminals, and the red flag is assigned to murderers. The grey flag can be received for small crimes, such as robbery. Even more, you can be flagged as irritant even for defiance: for example, if you’re continually pushing and chasing character of another player, you with high probability will receive the punishment. After you kill someone, your hero will receive a red flag, which means that other players can attack you without penalties.

Mortal Online has full loot feature, which means that if your character dies, all of the items from your inventory will be dropped on the floor. Every random passerby can search the body of your hero and steal stuff from the pockets. Also, there is an opportunity to grab the head of a dead player. Still, if you’re lucky enough to find your character’s corpse after respawn, you can receive the items back.

Even though PvE is not the most well-balanced aspect of the project, it still takes much time of the gameplay. The game has many side activities such as crafting, building, taming, and mining. You can develop skills of different handicrafts to produce high-quality resources. Moreover, there is an opportunity to do nothing of that list and take time exploring the game world.

One of the most entertaining parts of Mortal Online is a player-driven content. MO has many social-based features and guild system, which opens access to castle and fortress sieges, battles for city conquest and unique guild dungeons. Even more, the developers often involving the gameplay process to start a specific event or participate in player-driven activities. Usually, it happens unexpectedly and immerses massive amounts of participants into the event, so it’s one of the most exciting parts of this game.
