New event in Genshin Impact will add a Hypostasis Challenge
Developers of action RPG Genshin Impact has launched another event Hypostatic Symphony, which was announced not a long time ago. Each day the game will unlock one new challenge, up to seven pieces, involving battles with Hypostasis. You can participate in them either alone or in a group of up to four people. This event will run until 31st January 2021.
Before you begin, you can choose the level of difficulty and add special combat effects, determining the number of points you receive. For the first completion of each challenge at any difficulty level, 60 primogems are awarded. After earning a certain number of points, other rewards can be obtained, as shown in the image below. Along with this, the game has begun a "Seize the Day" event where you can collect daily entry gifts.
Genshin Impact recently introduced a new five-star heroine, Gan Yu, previously introduced for update 1.2. As usual, you can get her with an increased chance from the new Wish until 2nd February as part of the Adrift in the Harbor event. The opportunity to get four-star characters, including Xiang Ling, Xingqiu, and Noelle has also increased significantly. After the end of the event, Ganyu will be added to the roster of standard Wish.
Along with the appearance of the new character, several other game events have kicked off. For example, the "Test Run" allows you to evaluate Ganyu and Xingqiu for a small reward. The Weapon Gacha has been updated too, and you can now get five-star Amos Bow and Skyward Pride in it. A new story quest has also been added, available to players with adventure rank 40.
