Nicknames violating rules of Valorant will be forcibly changed

Valorant Nickname Ban Feature

The developer of first-person multiplayer shooter Valorant has announced the launch of a forced nickname change feature for Riot ID. Now, if there are curses, mate and "other nicknames" and other players send a report, the system will automatically check the account. Once an abusive word is found in a player's Riot ID, the next login will require a nickname change.

It is possible to change the nickname manually in Valorant, but no more than once every 30 days. You can do this in the settings of your Riot Games account.

Riot Games has also published new developer diaries announcing the First Strike tournament.
