Ring of Elysium Gameplay
Ring of Elysium is a battle royale which offers the players two different game modes: the first one is a classic battle royale, which includes up to sixty players in a single session; the second one is a teamplay-based survival. You can play both game types on all the maps; however, each season offers unique classes. For example, season one map features a region that is covered with snow, and the players may choose one out of three types of equipment, which are snowboard, climbing gear and hang glider. Each of these three classes has unique starting weapons and other additional pieces of equipment, and you can always find more scattered around the map.
The game features various story-related twists for the players during each season, and all the new characters released have a backstory. All the events and features added have a connection to various activities on the multiple playable maps. Season one features the snowy mountains where the players have to fight each other to secure the escape option for their team. Season two offer a tropical experience on an island during a volcanic eruption, and the ring represents fallen ashes and lava. The players have to survive and fly away from the island.
Ring of Elysium welcomes the players with the character creation system, where you can adjust various facial features and body attributes using built-in sculpt system. Most of the features are deeply customizable, and the interface is minimalistic. You can switch servers before entering the game: there are European, Asian, American and Oceanic options. The game supports both solo gameplay and groups of players, and you can select the type of your squad in the main menu as well. The in-game shop allows you to purchase unique skins for various weapons and accessories, and the players may earn the in-game currency by playing games and completing multiple objectives.
In this battle royale game, players can use the realistic copies of real weaponry, and there are multiple upgrades available for each gun. You can explore the map freely and climb or parkour various obstacles to find more loot to customize your playstyle. The game automatically installs all the accessories you can find. You can also adjust them manually, and the game allows you to place multiple optics on each gun to swap them in the middle of combat using a hotkey. The developers focus on realistic ballistics and physics in the game, and the players have to consider multiple factors while shooting, as well as avoiding various traps scattered across the maps.
Ring of Elysium fits both casual and hardcore players because of its flexibility and the broad range of available features. The game allows you to enjoy most of the original features straight after logging in, and more hardcore players can customize multiple aspects of the game to become more efficient and deadly in each match. Various game modes provide unique challenges for the players, and you can experience most of them together with friends or strangers online. Each season brings a new map with new classes and unique features, and various vehicles and local events are in the game to make each battle unique for all the participants.
