Rocket League will be removed from Steam

Rocket League moves from Steam to Epic Games Store

Developers of racing game Rocket League announced that the game would become free-to-play this summer. If you have played the game before this announcement, you will receive several exclusive rewards. All awards will be sent after the game switch to Free-to-Play.

Together with the change of distribution model, the game will be moved to Epic Games Store from Steam. All current players will be able to continue to play on the Steam platform, but new players will have to download the game from EGS client.

Recall that in May 2019 the company Epic Games acquired the studio Psyonix, developers of Rocket League.

All users who have purchased a basic version will receive the Legacy-status, which provides access to the following benefits:

  • All Rocket League DLCs;
  • Title "Est. 20XX";
  • More than 200 objects of the "Legacy" rarity;
  • Golden Cosmos accelerator;
  • Dieci-Oro wheels;
  • The banner of "Huntress Player".
