Royal Quest Gameplay

Royal Quest tells a story of Aura - a world with magic, high technologies and alchemy - attacked by evil black alchemists in search of a unique mineral. Overall, it presents classic story and gameplay, typical for many online RPGs - you will have to unite with other players to defeat evil.

At the start of the game, players can choose the appearance of their character and their class. The selected class determines the role of the players during the gameplay, although every class can act as a damage dealer. Additional skills can be chosen later in the game. When a certain level is reached, the player is able to pick one of the two branches of specialization. For example, a mage can choose a healing speciality, and their healing skills will be more effective than other mages’, but they will still be able to deal vast amounts of damage.

In Royal Quest, PvE gameplay offers players to unite in parties in order to overcome specific trials during the exploration of the story. The players decide the consistency of the party, or they can gather a group using an LFG system. Most of the quests can be done in solo, but dungeons and raids require a necessary presence of other party members, as the difficulty is often not suitable for solo players. The main reward for the elimination of enemy alchemists can be noble titles, castles and nearby estates, sizes of which are defined by quests’ difficulty.

The unique feature of the MMORPG is presented as mobs and other enemies having individual ability cards that can be examined and collected. The knowledge of these cards grants an opportunity to win in the battles more easily by neutralizing certain powers and debuffing.

PvP system of Royal Quest allows players to choose from available gameplay modes. PvP action can be done on mass battlegrounds, on the arena and in certain places of the world. The game also supports a duel system which is available everywhere, based on the players’ consent.

Royal Quest Classes

Royal Quest features a common variety of classes.

  • Warrior — a heavily armoured class, wielding a sword. Good at damage dealing and best at tanking. Along the way, a Warrior can become a Crusader, to serve the light, and a Dark Knights, to serve the dark goddess.
  • Archer — a mid-range battle class, wielding a bow. After reaching a certain level, archers can become Hunters to track their prey, or Snipers to master long-range rifles.
  • Mage — a natural powers expert who deals vast amounts of damage. Along the way, mages can choose a path of being a Wizard with natural healing powers, or become a Warlock to wield the forces of chaos in order to multiply their damage.
  • Rogue — a semi-stealth class that relies on agility. Eventually, Rogues are able to evolve into Bandits with an ability to divert and distract their enemies, or into Assassins whose primary purpose is to eliminate their targets swiftly.
