ShellShock Live Gameplay
ShellShock Live is an online artillery simulator in two-dimensional space, and it focuses on various customization and various interactions in battle in real-time. Loads of custom modes and playable maps make the experience unique during each action, and you can join any game with strangers or invite your friends to play custom matchups. All games are relatively short, and you can quickly change the load up for the next battle while being in the matchmaking queue.
ShellShock allows the players to form a team up to eight players to compete against other opponents on a wide range of available maps. However, you can always select different game types, such as free-for-all deathmatch, assassin, points challenge and juggernaut. These modes make the game diverse and allow the players to experiment with their weapons and upgrades to become more efficient. Tank upgrades enable you to change the shape of the tank and add various protective layers and add counter-measures to different types of firearms. The developers continuously add more and more weapons to the game, and some represent machine guns. Others focus on devastative nukes that may destroy a massive portion of the map.
This MMO provides the players with an interactive environment, and most tools affect the terrain in various ways. Most projectiles leave holes and destroy the surface, and that way, the players can reach underground caves to change the pace of battle. ShellShock Live also features various natural disasters that may happen during each campaign. An earthquake may destroy a part of the map, and a suddenly emerged volcano can drastically change the flow of the fight. You can use all parts of the terrain as a cover, and some projectiles may be able to dodge obstacles to reach the target. However, most of them do not show the flying path, and the players need to practice and use the gun more to learn how to aim. You can see the numbers of damage in case it successfully reached the target.
The game also offers the players to compete against each other in the interactive built-in ladder system. ShellShock Live provides a hundred unique ranks you have to climb through, and the progression system allows you to gather experience points in each battle to level up and gain access to more and more unique upgrades and weaponry. The developers provide the players with the global leaderboard, and the most successful players can always compare their profile to others.
ShellShock Live fits both casual and hardcore gamers due to its accessible gameplay and short battles. There are plenty of non-ranked games and various challenges you can experience with friends, and the most hardworking players can always earn their spot in the global leaderboard to show it off. The game features built-in in-game shop to purchase skins and other gameplay instruments to allow the players to customize the gameplay even more. However, the game does not support microtransactions and premium accounts, and everything can only be earned through playing. The developers continuously support the game and add new features and content regularly to keep the community engaged. Their forums are an excellent tool for feedback, and they often add more features suggested by the players.
