Spiral Knights Gameplay

The plot of the game tells the story about the Spiral Knights, who awakened in the unfamiliar world after the spaceship crash. Their Skylark spaceship cannot be repaired after the collision, and you have to survive in the dangerous world.

The task of the knights stuck on the alien planet is to collect all the necessary materials and to fix the Order's spaceship so that the main characters of the game could return home. To complete the essential challenge in the game, you will have to clean up many locations and go a long way from the surface to the heart of the planet, killing thousands of monsters. The deeper down the players, the more brutal the enemies become and the more complex battle strategies they use.

The Clockwork Mechanism is extensive and full of trouble, which varies according to the general themes of each level. For example, in forest areas, you will have to fight with animals, while the electric locations are dangerous because of the robots and machines. Each level is full of traps, hidden obstacles and individual tasks that you have to deal with to pass. You can complete challenges either alone or in a group with friends.

Each Knight can carry two weapons simultaneously to be able to switch between near and far combat. The control of the main character is as simple as possible; you can play the game relaxed and do not waste much energy to win.

Progress in Spiral Knights is all you need to rebuild your spaceship. The level of your armour determines the depth to which you are allowed to go down. Higher-level weapons can be purchased at enormous prices, so it is worth creating them yourself. If you do not have the necessary materials, you can combine the crystals collected in the locations. You can also take part in unique shells and grind certain types of resources if you do not have enough consumables for the craft.

The Spiral Knights have a complex system of daily activities; for example, you will have to complete specific actions in locations, defeat a strict number of enemies, or create new items and revive your knight during the battle. All activities cost a particular resource called energy. Once the counter in the lower right corner of the screen reaches zero, the daily task is complete. To complete quests, you need to spend energy. The amount of energy is limited, and to complement more challenges, you will have to replenish your resources.
