Tales of Vesperia is a fantasy-themed adventure JRPG and is the tenth in the Tales series. The game was developed by Namco Tales Studio and released by Namco Bandai Games in 2008. In 2019, it was released on PC.
According to the plot, the player begins an adventure in the city of Zafias. In this place, tormented by poverty, lives the former Imperial Knight, Yuri Lowell. Once, in the Lower Quarter, a blastia breaks down, supplying its residents with water. Yuri, examining the blastia, notices that its core was stolen by someone. In search of a thief, Yuri sneaks into the house of an aristocrat, but in the end, he is caught and imprisoned. Yuri, knowing that he has little time, escapes from prison, and on the way meets a girl who is trying to warn one knight, Flynn Shifo, about the danger that threatens him. By coincidence, this knight turns out to be an old friend of Yuri, so he, without thinking twice, agrees to help the girl.
The gameplay of Tales of Vesperia is a reworked classic JRPG, where, during his adventure, the player will have to travel with his allies in a conventionally open world, complete many quests and fight a variety of opponents.
