Tales of Zestiria Description

Tales of Zestiria is a Japanese RPG game that is the fifteenth instalment in the Tales series. The developer and publisher is Bandai Namco Games. The release took place in October 2015.

The game takes place on the fictional continent of Greenwood, which is controlled by two warring empires. The main character is a guy named Sorei, who possesses mystical powers obtained from the seraphim race. Representatives of this race act as keepers of balance on the continent. The elect who interact with the seraphim are called "shepherds" - people consider them saviours, but, at the same time, they are afraid of them because of mystical power. In this world, the negative emotions of the continent's inhabitants give rise to monsters - Hyoma. The game tells the story of shepherds during the "Era of Chaos" when the continent was invaded by Hyomas, who began to attack villages and cities. The main character, Sorey, wishing to bring peace back to Greenwood, sets out on a journey to become a shepherd and gain the strength to destroy monsters.

The gameplay is a classic JRPG with visual novel elements. The player will travel through the open world, divided into locations, explore exciting places, fight various enemies, gradually progressing through the plot. All this takes place in a beautiful fantasy world made in anime style.
