Titanfall 2 is a multiplayer game in the genre of the first-person shooter featuring mechs, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts.

  • Immersive single-player campaign
  • Dynamic action combat
  • Wide variety of multiplayer modes
  • Unique titans and playable heroes

Titanfall 2 Gameplay

The world of Titanfall is immersed in the confrontation between the powerful Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation and the Frontier Militia. The first faction invented combat robots and exoskeletons, then went to conquer space for resources, and then claimed their rights to the developed territories. The Militia faction disagrees with that position, which is why the game world is torn apart by conflicts. The disagreement leads to a fierce rivalry between the parties.

Titanfall 2 features both single-player campaign and multiplayer mode, which allows participating in the competition with other players. Players can fight with the opponents using the agile and fast playable hero, or heavily armoured Titan.

There are seven types of titans in the game, and each of them is suitable for a specific style of play. For example, "Ronin" is a hand-to-hand combat samurai who can quickly jump to the enemy and chop them into pieces; "Nordstar" is a sniper who keeps away from enemies and causes severe damage from the distance. Compared to the first part, each mech in Titanfall 2 is more specialized in a specific tactic; the vortex shield is now available only for one class, and each robot has a special weapon and a unique skill.

The robot can be equipped with several types of weapons, such as machine gun, flamethrower, etc. It is very convenient to switch between them quickly because the situation on the battlefield often changes. The diverse game modes force platers to change their tactics and adapt to the new environments; for example, your team can appear in the small building after the open field, and both of these locations require different strategies.

Initially, players are allowed to use only three titans, and the rest of them have to be earned in battles, completing various in-game quests with different requirements. The development system regularly provides players with the opportunity to develop additional tools from their arsenal, so it's relatively easy to improve all necessary skills. It's possible to enhance the abilities of the pilot, as well as each mech and weapon separately which are improved independently.

In addition to the beautiful architecture and environment, developers emphasized the development of the shooting and other weapon mechanics. There are enough weapons in the game, and each of them can be used. Also, during the game, you will find different equipment for titans, which will allow you to try those modifications and equipment on the available robots. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that a single campaign of Titanfall 2 provides an opportunity to test the strategies and polish the skills before you enter the multiplayer mode.

In contrast to the first part, the parkour system in Titanfall 2 has become even more flexible: one of the most impressive novelties is a grappling hook, which allows the playable heroes to leave the current position and jump in every direction instantly. Also, the game provides an opportunity to develop many unique skills, such as the ability to go into a parallel dimension, becoming invincible and invisible.
