Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Gameplay

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 - the sequel to the first part of the series, developed by the same studio Massive Entertainment under the publishing house Ubisoft. This is a post-apocalyptic third-person shooter with the possibility of a cooperative passage. This time, the game appears as a full-fledged multi-platform project in which the creators have added all the fundamental wishes of the gaming community. The release took place on March 2019.

Actions of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 takes place in same America six months after the events of the first part. The social conflict based on the virus escalated into a full-fledged civil war, the participants of which were ordinary survivors and organizations of especially dangerous marauders. The player will feel like a special forces soldier whose goal is to end the war.

The gameplay is a journey through a much larger world compared to the first part. The developers of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 have paid even more attention to the small details of a city mired in a war, which is gradually starting a new life. Of the graphical innovations, it is worth noting improved textures and the addition of photorealistic shaders. Besides, the worked-out flora and fauna make the game livelier and more atmospheric, along with the soundtrack that fits into all this.

The main tasks of the player will be the implementation of story and side quests encountered in the way of non-player characters. During the passage, multiple skirmishes will occur both with bots of various degrees of difficulty and with other players. Also, one of the main innovations was the possibility of combining two squads into the large one for special raid missions. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 also acquired daily tasks and an elaborate endgame.

Ongoing in-game events and special PvP zones will not let you get bored. The player will intensely wage a constant war with criminal groups trying to seize the territory of the city.

The complexity of missions and opponents is performed in a level system. As a newbie, going to high-level tasks in the hope of getting easy experience points won’t work. Opponents that are superior to the player in level, quickly deal with him in seconds.

The enemies of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, as in the first part, are divided into classes, ranging from ordinary to elite. Besides, they are also divided into types of combat. In this part, the enemy’s AI was significantly improved. Now snipers are trying to take an inconspicuous position as quickly as possible, the arrows fire suppression and come from the flanks, and melee fighters attack from an ambush.

The creators took the trouble to expand the already considerable amount of weapons. Each firearm here can be modified beyond recognition. The skill tree has also been increased, which will now more clearly divide players by specialization. Those who play alone will have to be sensitive to balance when pumping abilities. Passing the title in the squads, on the contrary, simplified the gameplay.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 - an excellent continuation of the series, which received even more positive reviews in comparison with the first part. The game is recommended to all fans of third-person shooters and supporters of the Tom Clancy’s series.
