Tree of Life Gameplay

At first, you have to create a hero. Character editor is not unusual in this game. You can change a name, gender, hairstyle, color of skin and eyes, and the faction you would like to join. There are three game factions:

Bastards of Freedom: A prisoners that bought freedom. They are looking for redemption with the help of the tree of life. They start the game in the bottom left corner of the map, at Sunset Beach.

The Knights of Roses: A knights that loyal to their kingdom. They are looking for a cure for their princess, Audrey. Knights of Roses are sure that the tree of life will help her. This faction starts the game from the top left corner of the map, on the Island of Life.

The Adventure Company: A group of greedy adventurers and who want to grow rich. They start the game at the bottom edge of the map in the Paradise area.

All of these factions are enemies, but they still can contact with each other.

The game will help you get comfortable. For this, in the beginning, there will be a quick tutorial. If you are new to the game, you better not pass it.

The main plot begins with the fact that you wake up on the shore.
First of all, you will have to deal with the basic mechanics of crafting and survival. You will need these skills in the first minutes of the game already.

The first task for your character is to survive the night. You have to create a workbench and a campfire, and then you ready to start your journey. Soon, you will also need to make weapons, armor, and tools. It will help you in building and leveling.

For a comfortable gameplay, you will need to build your base. To do this, gather resources and make the necessary tools. Make your best to create a simple shelter before nightfall, because by this time the monsters will spawn. For this, you need to set The Survival Tent and enclose it with a fence.

You also have four meters to monitor: Hunger, Stamina, Health, and Soul. The last one is time until you respawn if you died. You need to maintain these meters to continue existing.

You can play the Tree of Life alone, but it will be pretty tough. This game focuses on cooperation between players. You have to find teammates to simplify the creation of a settlement. And for sure, it will be impossible to build a powerful empire alone. You can join a big guild, which already has an established community and connections with other guilds. Most likely, other players will help you, but do not think that everyone in this game will be friendly.

There is PvP in this game, but the killer will have to pay a fine for the crime. The Tree of Life does not support fights between players and severely punishes for it. There is also almost no griefing and harassment. Most of the time, you will have to defend only from game mobs.

Tree of Life Classes

The Tree of Life has no classes, but you can develop your mastery. There are some types of abilities. You can evolve in any of them. When you increase a mastery level, your stats are also leveling up. To increase your skill, you just need to more often engage in activities that you want to develop. The level of your abilities rises automatically.

Combat-related: Anatomy, Archery, Axe, Dagger, Hammer, Martial Art, Shield, Spear, Tactics, and Two-Handed.

Crafting-related: Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Cooking, Healing, Sewing, and Tinkering. If you increase the Carpentry skill, your character will start building better and faster. For other skills, you will need different special buildings. You can construct them yourself or ask your friend for help. The Tinkering and Blacksmithing skills will allow you to improve your weapons and create new ones, even more powerful. The Tailoring ability can help you make new types of armor.
