Twin Saga Gameplay

Twin Saga is an anime-themed MMORPG set in the world of Aetherion, which contains two twin goddesses, and they continuously fight each other to control the lands. The first one serves hell forces and wants to eliminate humanity, and the other is determined to save them. The players take control over numerous knights to help the second one to preserve peace and save humanity from extinction. The game offers detailed, colourful anime-styled cel-shaded graphics, as well as atmospheric orchestrated background music and Japanese voice-overs.

Twin Saga welcomes new players with the character creation menu, and you can choose one out of four classes: Mage, Gunslinger, Swordmaster and Dragonknight. There are also multiple customizable visual features, such as gender, facial features, skin tone and hairstyle. The players can unlock more playable classes by reaching a specific point in the storyline, as well as some additional visual improvements. The game begins with a quick tutorial that also includes the prologue missions of the main storyline. The players learn the basics of movement, combat and how to face a boss in a battle. The players use a keyboard to move around, and they have to select a target to perform abilities and spells.

Twin Saga offers the players a unique multi-class system, where they can change classes at any point of the game and level them up independently. The characters can also learn skills from different archetypes and use them at any time afterwards. That opens up endless combinations for the players to experiment with, and they can also develop all the roles in the game without having to create new characters every time. Lower levels require fewer experience points; therefore, endgame content consumes a lot of time and effort to achieve.

One of the distinctive features of Twin Saga is a mobile player housing system, known as Terracottages, and the players unlock it upon reaching level twenty. These structures represent a mix between a house and a turtle, and they can walk swiftly across the virtual lands. The players can customize them as they acquire additional resources, and there are also multiple upgrades available to higher-level characters. You can set up crafting related tools as well, such as alchemy lab, cooking station and a greenhouse. The social system allows you to bring friends to your house at any time.

Twin Saga allows the players to participate in diverse player-versus-player activities, such as duels and arena battles. In Arena, the players can form teams of up to three people to compete against similar opponents to climb the ranked ladder. All the participants receive Arena Coins based on their performance, and they can spend it on unique gear pieces and weaponry in the Battlefield Shop. There is also a game mode where the players can only face other characters of the same class to improve their skills even further.

Twin Saga fits both casual and hardcore gamers because of the diverse in-game activities, such as the main storyline and various side activities. The built-in in-game shop allows casual players to invest real-money in catching up with others to compete in multiple world activities, and crafting system enables the players to explore the world to create the most potent artefacts to use to develop their characters. In-depth customization system allows the players to change most of the gameplay aspects to satisfy most types of players.
