Werewolf: The Apocalypse is a role-playing action video game set n the universe of World of Darkness.
- Three different playable modes
- Deep storyline and unique universe
- Dynamic combat system
- Plenty of different enemies with unique combat strategies
Werewolf: The Apocalypse is an adaptation of the board game Werewolf, the events of which unfold in the universe of World of Darkness (Vampire the Masquerade).
The developers promise a unique mix of combat and adventure full of mystical events. Playing as the mighty Garou named Cahal, players will have to save Gaia, Mother Earth, without losing control of the rage — in the past it has already led to a disaster, which caused Cahal to go into voluntary exile from the clan. In the "World of Darkness" universe, werewolves are the guardians of the balance of nature and are the sworn enemies of vampires, who feel perfectly comfortable living with humans. The antagonist in Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is the oil company Endron International, which is owned by Pentex Corporation. The vampire clans rule Pentex, but in this game, players will have to confront only its subsidiary.
In Werewolf: The Apocalypse you will take on the role of a werewolf who can transform into three forms — wolf, human and werewolf. Your character will be involved in the struggle between good and evil and try to bring balance to the world and stop the destruction. Even though the game has an open world, the developers aimed for the development of a linear story, an elaborate character storyline and the main quest of saving the Earth. In werewolf mode, the player will be able to activate combat mode or communicate with other world inhabitants, and if you decide to turn into a beast, you will be able to hunt.
The werewolf form has two basic stances: one of them emphasizes quick attacks and movement, and the other emphasizes strength and survivability. In the course of the fight, the protagonist also fills up the rabies scale. It gives access to a special mode, in which Cahal becomes more powerful and swift, but cannot heal or block blows. Cahal also accumulates a Frenzy Scale which allows him to do powerful blows but instead removes his ability to block enemies' attacks and regenerate his health.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse is a role-playing action game with elements of stealth, where the main character will be a werewolf Cahal. He will have to join the fight against the corporation Pentex and stop the pollution of the planet. The gameplay cycle is simple - you quietly make your way to the target, eliminate snipers and other especially dangerous enemies, and when Cahal is detected, the battle begins. Cyanide assures that a lot of attention is paid to the combat system.
