More About First-Person MMORPG
Most of the first-person MMORPG use this angle of view to improve the quality of the gameplay and create an entirely innovative experience with the highest level of immersion. When you play these videogames, you see the world with the eyes of your character. Usually, you can see only arms of your hero; most of the videogames show your weapon and animation of the arms when you use magic or perform various actions. It looks aesthetically pleasing and helps to concentrate on the environment of the game; it's easier to associate yourself with your character when you don't get distracted by the appearance of your protagonist.
The First-Person MMORPG provides an improved quality of combat mechanics. It's much easier to shoot and aim to your enemy from the first view, and I'd look more realistic. The action combat looks extremely dynamic when you see it as if you're on the battlefield, fighting with the enemies instead of your character. Even though it's not so easy to track the actions of the foes behind your back as you can do it in-game with the third-person view, the gameplay of these projects is much more challenging and realistic.
Most of the modern First-Person MMORPG projects provide an opportunity to switch between third and first-person and customize the angle of view, so that visual style can be found in any type of video game, with no restrictions by genre and setting.
Best First-Person MMORPG
- The Elder Scrolls Online has a well-developed first-person mode, which looks the same way as an iconic interface of previous parts of TES series. In this project, you can see only the hands of your hero and environment.
- Mortal Online is a first-person MMORPG in a medieval setting. It's a PvPvE sandbox open-world projects which have a dark-fantasy inspired plot.
- Wurm Online is a hardcore fantasy MMORPG which has a first-person graphics mode. The graphics are a bit outdated, but it's still pretty and vivid.
