Titan Quest is a hack-and-slash action/RPG computer game developed by Iron Lore Entertainment and published by THQ in 2006. The game uses the mythology of Ancient Greece, Egypt and the Orient to tell the story of a nameless hero’s quest against three brothers, the titanic creatures who want to conquer the Earth.

The gameplay is typical for games of the hack and slash genre and a lot like the gameplay of one of the most famous representatives of this genre, Diablo 2. The main focus is on the destruction of numerous monsters and the development of character traits and skills. The story is divided into three acts and the game world, respectively, into three large areas: Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt and Ancient East, as well as the final location, Olympus.

Unlike many other hack and slash action RPG games, the locations in Titan Quest are linear. However, enemies and items in chests are randomly generated each time you enter the game. The graphics in the game are 3D. It’s impossible to rotate the camera in the original game, but it’s possible to change zoom.

Just like in all other hack-and-slash action/RPG games, Similar Games like Titan Quest tend to provide simple and immersive gameplay. The closest relative of Titan Quest is a Grim Dawn because this game was created by the same developers. These projects share similar class and skill development systems, as well as some more complicated features. For example, Grim Dawn has almost the same basic gameplay mechanics, but it’s much more complex and advanced due to the implementation of features like Devotion.

Similar Games like Titan Quest are usually classic diablo-like projects and especially games from the Diablo series. The gameplay of this game is really close to Diablo 2, but with some unique twists; if you never played this classic masterpiece, it’s the best option between all similar games.
