In 2001, most of the released games still were single-players. The developers were working hard to provide new console PS2 with the highest-quality projects, while other companies experimented with their exclusive platforms. However, one of the MMO from 2001 became an extremely popular RPG: it was the RuneScape, which is still played by millions of gamers all around the world. Another notable RPG is a Dark Age of Camelot, which was one of the first RvR MMOs with in-depth lore and sandbox features.
