More About PvE MMO Games

In PvE MMO, you can gather other players in the team and complete the quests with them. Most of the MMO games of this genre offer many additional in-game activities. For some of them, it is necessary to assemble a team with players of other classes, for example, if you’re going in a raid. In most PvE games, the economy is driven by players: you can trade and exchange with other gamers, farm and craft resources together.

Moreover, there are lots of different activities for solo players. For example, almost all of the MMO games has an interesting plot with many side-quests given by non-playable characters. The NPCs in PvE MMO are one of the most interesting parts of the games. They can not only communicate with you, but also live their own lives: spend time with other NPCs, conflict with each other, or help you by giving various useful items and information about the quests.

In addition, MMO games often have activities that are not related to the plot at all. In most MMO you can go through various challenges and events, which usually added for a holiday, develop various skills that are not important in the game, such as cooking or making potions. Often you can be challenged to collect something, such as various artefacts in World of Warcraft.

Best PvE MMO Games

  • The Diablo series is a classic example of a PvE game. It has a fascinating story and lots of different NPCs that want to give you a quest. In this game, you have an opportunity team up with other players to go through the plot of the game or kill a mighty boss. The high levels of difficulty are very hard to pass alone, so you always have an opportunity to call your friends.
  • World of Warcraft is one of the most popular MMO games. This world is vibrant and colourful because of many NPC’s, quests, and in-game activities that are independent of your character. A large number of the mechanics of this game is based on cooperation between players. Warcraft is also famous for its raid system, that requires to gather players of certain classes in your team. You can also trade and exchange items with embedded trading tools.
  • Dragon Nest is a PvE game with an exciting plot and relaxed in-game activities.
